Elbowrooms 2020 | Elbow’s live recordings during COVID-19 quarantine
| Elbowrooms is a series of live recordings of Elbow’s songs, selected by their fans during the period where British people had to stay home, amid the COVID-19.
| “Mirrorball” version sounds specially nice thanks to the strings added to the song.
| Elbowrooms sessions, that happened every Friday for 9 weeks, were finally released to streaming platforms.

Who knows? maybe it’s predestined. Guy Garvey, Elbow’s lead singer, wrote this sentence as a teenager in his diary: “one day like this a year’d see me right”. He always thought it was special.
One day, after being with someone and waking up with them for the first time, he felt a moment of complete happiness, one of those that fill you. With a dose of important talent and his teenage phrase, he described that feeling in “One Day Like This”.
I still remember when I first heard it, at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics. What a thrill! As much as I feel now sharing it with you.
