Luis Miguel Te Necesito | The song that encouraged a famous singer to stay in music

Luis Miguel’s discography is very extensive and full of legendary songs like ‘La Incondicional (The Unconditional)‘, however my favourite song of his entire career is ‘Te Necesito (I need you)’. Whenever I listen to it I spend the whole week after singing it non-stop 😅

Released in 2003 on his fifteenth album, whose title made it clear how old Luis Miguel was at the time, “33”, shows an admirable vocal maturity. The song is one of those wonders that only Juan Luis Guerra can compose.

• When Juan Luis Guerra offered it to Luis Miguel he wasn’t sure it would work, but the great reception of the song was the encouragement and confidence he needed to continue in music, releasing a new album in 2004 called ‘Para ti (For you)‘.
