Who is Dennis Lloyd?
Dennis Lloyd, whose real name is Nir Tibor, was born in Israel in 1993.
When he was 8 years old he heard a song played on trumpet 🎺 and fell in love with the power of its sound.
- He learned to play both trumpet and guitar, composing his first song at the age of 14.
- He studied at the Tel Aviv High School of Arts, forming part of its orchestra as a trumpet player.
At 18, not sure what to do with his life, he was drafted into the Israeli Navy and served as a combat sailor for three years.
When he finished, he moved to Thailand with a friend.
- He lived in a tiny studio where he would compose over 40 songs, uploading them to various platforms.

In 2016, completely unexpectedly he started receiving calls from record labels ☎️
- Unbeknownst to him, his track ‘Nevermind‘, had gone viral on Spotify.
- He signed with a label, but from that moment on he felt tied down. Songs like ‘Never Go Back’, which he believed in, were rejected by the label.
- Despite the success, the concerts, the recognition, he felt alone and without a clear path, he even had suicidal thoughts.
Luckily, after a complicated negotiation, he broke with the label, finding the freedom he needed.
- Even so, he was under a lot of pressure from fans, travel, etc. She still felt that she needed to get her life in order.
- That’s why in 2019 he told his manager that he would stop for a while. In addition, the Covid-19 pandemic broke out. Perfect time to compose.
After the break and with clearer ideas, in 2021 he would release his first and magnificent album, ‘Some Days‘.
Since then he has released several singles such as ‘Berlin‘ and our favorite Dennis Lloyd track ‘Today, Tomorrow‘, released in 2023.
From his first song released in 2015, ‘Playa (Say That)‘, to the present day, he has surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify 🎧
