Louane Emera represents France at Eurovision 2025. An outstanding 28-year-old singer and actress who has made a significant mark in French music and film. Representing Israel at Eurovision 2025 is Yuval Raphael. Yuval is a survivor of the Hamas attack on the Nova music festival in October 2023, where he managed to save his life by hiding for hours in a shelter, an experience that profoundly marked his life and artistic career.

Since then, she has used music as a tool for healing and expression, taking her message of resilience to international stages, including the UN Human Rights Council.

The song she will perform on stage in Basel is titled “New Day Will Rise”. It fuses lyrics in English, Hebrew and French conveying a message of hope and overcoming, with verses inspired by the Song of Songs evoking the strength of love in the face of adversity.

The Netherlands will be represented at Eurovision 2025 by Claude Kiambe, a 21-year-old singer born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and resident in the Netherlands since the age of 13.

Chosen from over 300 entries, Claude brings to the Basel stage his song “C’est la vie”, a song that fuses ballad and afrobeat rhythms, performed in French and English, which conveys a message of resilience and maternal support. In it, Claude recalls his childhood and his mother’s influence, reflecting his Congolese roots and migration experience.

Claude takes over from Joost Klein, the Dutch representative in 2024, who was disqualified from the competition due to an altercation.

Belgium will be represented at Eurovision 2025 by Red Sebastian, the stage name of Seppe Herreman, a 25-year-old singer from Ostend.

His song for the contest, “Strobe Lights”, is an energetic piece of electronic pop that evokes the atmosphere of a late-night rave. The track stands out for its fusion of electronic sounds and lyrics that describe the feeling of getting lost in a “cotton candy haze” when looking into a lover’s eyes.

Adonxs is the stage name of Adam Pavlovčin, a Slovak multidisciplinary artist who combines music, dance and fashion. Adonxs was the first openly queer winner of the SuperStar program in 2021.

“Kiss Kiss Kiss Goodbye”, is an epic ballad that narrates an emotional farewell in a relationship, mixing love, pain and happy memories, reflected both lyrically and melodically.

Klemen Slakonja is a renowned actor, singer and television host. His emotional ballad “How Much Time Do We Have Left” addresses profound themes such as the fragility of life and the importance of cherishing time with our loved ones.

Klemen performs a special number in which he hangs upside down from the stage ceiling, a feature that has been part of his unique style in previous performances.

Finland will be represented at Eurovision 2025 by Erika Vikman, who won UMK 2025, the Finnish national preselection, with her song “ICH KOMME”.

The song, whose German title translates as “I’m coming,” has generated controversy for its explicitly sexual tone and provocative choreography.

EMMY represents Norway at 24 with “Laika Party”. The track, a mix of dance pop with melancholic touches, pays tribute to Laika, the Soviet dog who was the first living thing to orbit the Earth.

“Laika Party” was rejected in the Norwegian preselection, but found its way into the Irish competition.

Kyle Alessandro is a 19-year-old singer with Norwegian and Spanish roots. His song, “Lighter”, is an emotional pop ballad that pays tribute to his mother, who overcame cancer treatment. Kyle wrote and produced most of the song, which stands out for its message of hope and resilience.

The group Ziferblat is formed by twin brothers Daniil and Valentyn Leshchynskyi, along with Fyodor Khodakov.

Their song, “Bird of Pray,” is an emotional ballad that fuses Ukrainian and English, conveying a message of hope and resilience in difficult times. The lyrics use the metaphor of a “bird of prayer” to symbolize the search for freedom and peace, reflecting the experiences of the Ukrainian people.

Parg began her musical career singing in her church choir at the age of six. Her song “Survivor” is a powerful ballad that conveys a message of resilience and self-improvement.

“Hallucination,” is a dance-pop track that describes a connection so intense with another person that it seems unreal.

The duo VÆB, composed of brothers Hálfdán Helgi Matthíasson and Matthías Davíð Matthíasson, brings “Róa”, which stands out for its energy and unique visual style.

At Eurovision 2025, Luxembourg will be represented by singer Laura Thorn with the song “La Poupée Monte Le Son” which pays tribute to “Poupée de Cire, Poupée de Son” by France Gall, which represented Luxembourg at Eurovision in 1965.
