Who is Hugo Cobo?
Hugo Cobo, born on 20 December 1999 in Cordoba, Spain. At the age of 13 he began to cover songs and upload them to the networks.
Since 2020, after his 5th place in a TV musical contest, he has not stopped fighting to make his music reach the general public.
To do so, he has released two EPs: ‘doleré (I will hurt)‘ and ‘SANARÉ (I will heal)‘, which have already accumulated millions of plays on Spotify. This led him in 2022 to release a debut album called ‘UN TÚ CONSTANTE (A constant you)‘.
Hugo continues to search for his sound between pop, rock and flamenco, while giving us fantastic songs like the 3 singles he has released in 2023:

Hugo began 2023 with one of his most personal songs, ‘Na de Nada‘. A song in which he shouted “leave me alone“, as he felt at the end of 2022.
That feeling would change at the beginning of 2023 when he would collaborate with Silvia Expósito in another great song, ‘Porque somos amigos’. Hugo Cobo explained it like this:
This collaboration came about as a result of a party that our personal trainer threw because we go to the same gym, that is to say, we went because she doesn’t go… (laughs) She came to the party, didn’t she? And well, she got up there with her little guitar to sing and I heard her singing and I went up to her and I said hey, look, I really like the way you sing, we could sit down one day to compose and see what we can come up with and if it’s cool and you want to, we can take it out.
This brings us to our Emotion of the Week, ‘Larilara’, a romantic song, with a flamenco feel and a modern and poetic way of expressing oneself, as beautiful phrases like this one show:
