Lorena Gomez Me vuelvo a la vida

LORENA GÓMEZ Me Vuelvo a la Vida | 16 years wishing for this moment

Lorena Gómez won a popular musical contest in Spain in 2006. After releasing 2 albums almost forced by the record company, she quit until 2023 when she finally found the way to release an album really hers, ‘Me Vuelvo a la Vida (I Turn Back to Life)‘. Let yourself fall in love with Lorena’s voice and talent!

Who is Lorena Gómez?

Lorena Gómez, born in Spain in 1986, has been on stage since she was 8 years old.

In 2006 she won a show ‘Operación Triunfo (Success Operation)’, starting a career with two albums marked by what her record company (Sony) wanted: “De Película (Movie-like)” and “Esta Vez (This time)“.

After that, she left music aside working as a soap opera actress in Miami.

In 2016 she would return again in Spain to participate in another music television program, publish afterwards a few singles.

The good reception of these singles opened her the door to launch in 2023 what Lorena considers her first real album, ‘Me Vuelvo A La Vida (I’m Coming Back To Life)‘, a dream come true.

Lorena Gómez ‘Me vuelvo a la vida’ | Review of the best tracks

‘Me vuelvo a la vida’ is a great album with many outstanding songs:

Ojo de Halcón (Hawkeye): A song that advocates the responsible use of social networks with a clear message “your freedom ends where the freedom of others begins“.

Me Vuelvo a la Vida (I Turn Back to Life): In the song that gives its name to the album Lorena displays her great voice shouting that she is embracing life again.

Cara bonita (Pretty face): Lorena launches a beautiful message “There is perfection in imperfection“. She explained it this way:

It’s a piece of me, of my life, of my history, of my roots, of my values and principles.

This song goes for all those who struggle with the one in the mirror every day, those who strive to accept themselves, those who seek help in solitude, those who give more than they receive, those who put their “pretty face” to others and suffer in silence their fears.

Si Yo Pudiera Verte (If I Could See You): A beautiful song sung as a duet with the great Miguel Poveda.

Pequeño Gigante (Little Giant): Dedicated to her youngest son, it is a powerful song full of feeling.

Ganas Tú (You win): Although it hurts in his bones and he dies of grief, he lets his partner go, because it is simply the best.

El Peón y la Reina (The Pawn and the Queen): A musical battle cry to uncover ourselves and face the world without fear. Undoubtedly the Emotion of the Week, in which the overwhelming voice of the Spanish artist is joined by the musical formation Barcelona Gay Men’s Chorus.

15 years ago Lorena won a musical contest in Spain for a reason, do you know what it is?…. Her passion for singing and a huge torrent of voice. Now, 16 years later, she has regained that strength to create an album of her own, a real treat!

After ‘Me vuelvo a la vida‘ Lorena Gómez has released a Christmas single called ‘Vives en mí (You live in me)’. We can’t what to see what comes next 😀

Lorena Gómez 'El Peón y La Reina' Lyrics

No pienso morir de amor
Recordando aquel error
Que me hizo más fuerte, tan indiferente
Feroz

No vas a morir de amor
De eso ya me encargo yo
Que tú eres tan fuerte, tan libre y valiente
Y no

Tu problema

Lorena Gómez 'El Peón y La Reina' Lyrics in English

I will not die of love
Remembering that mistake
That made me stronger, so indifferent
Fierce

You’re not going to die of love
I’ll take care of that
You are so strong, so free and brave
And no

No one is innocent, least of all me
Show your teeth, no heart
I won’t tell you what you want to hear
Because you, ah

Your problem
Is that you thought I was better
I told you so, but you don’t get it
You’re weaker than me

Your problem
Is that you played without knowing who burns
You were the pawn, but I’m the queen
You’re weaker than me, oh

I looked you in the eye, I took off my blindfold
And now your movie don’t sell it to me
I’ve had enough, who do you think you are?
That you didn’t understand anything, and you don’t see it

No one is innocent (least of all me)
Show your teeth, no heart
I’m not gonna tell you what you want to hear
Because you, ah

Your problem
Is that you thought I was better
I told you so, but you don’t get it
You’re weaker than me

Your problem
Is that you thought I was better
I told you so, but you just don’t get it
You’re weaker than me, oh, oh

Your problem
Is that you played without knowing who burns
You were the pawn, but I’m the queen
You’re weaker than me, oh

Your problem
