This album is all about running into the arms of God. It’s my story, but I also believe it’s the story of anyone who has found themselves far from home spiritually.

Cochren & Co.

Michael Cochren is the name behind Cochren & Co. Born in Indiana and always close to religion, he felt the call of music at a very young age, dedicating his life to composing songs of hope sung with a deep voice that engages on the first listen.

What is Cochren & Co. new album, Running Home, about?

Cochren & Co.’s debut album, ‘Don’t Lose Hope‘, released in 2021, already earned him a loyal following, with the biggest hit being “Church (Take Me Back)“.

Michael Cochren, along with his wife Leah, who is also part of Cochren & Co. is back with his 2nd album, ‘Running Home’. The project consists of 10 energetic songs and plenty of good feelings:

  1. Running Home: First single and our favorite track. This song is an anthem that declares, “I’m not running away anymore, I’m coming home!”
  2. By Our Love: A gospel track that invites us to help each other.
  3. The Lows: You can’t always be on top, there are times when you have to go through low moments to lift you back up.
  4. Thank God For Sunday Morning: Michael recalled that his Christianity was pretty shallow until one Saturday night, while in his car he says he felt God enter his dark night and lead him to the morning of his love. That inspired this song.
  5. Be There For You: Cochren & Co. tells how he doesn’t know how to help a friend, but is there for him anyway.
  6. Good Memories: Spending time with friends and family, making memories. A feel-good track.
  7. Parking Lot: Another epic track that tells of when Michael felt God.
  8. Through The Night: Patience to get through the night, the day will come.
  9. The Final Say (feat. Josh Baldwin): Together with Josh Baldwin, Cochren & Co. embroiders a new song of praise.
  10. Future Glory: The album concludes with a song of inspiration and hope that leads us into a glorious future.

COCHREN & CO. 'Running Home' Lyrics

It’s been a long time running down a dead-end road
Lookin’ for that something that could fill my soul
Never found what I was searching for

It’s been a long time running from a messed-up past
But you can’t go forward when you’re lookin’ back
But I ain’t looking back anymore, ooh-oh

He called my name (He called my name)
And He stole my shame (He stole my shame)
Everything changed when I came running home
(I’m running, I’m running home)
Out of the dark (Out of the dark)
Into His arms (Into His arms)
No more running away, I’m running home

I’m running, I’m running home
I’m running, I’m running home

No more running in circles tryna be good enough
I’m far from perfеct, but I found perfect love
In thе arms that won’t let go

Got a heart on fire, got a wind at my back
Singing Hallelujah, I am free at last
Every day I’m running home

He called my name (He called my name)
And He stole my shame (He stole my shame)
Everything changed when I came running home
(I’m running, I’m running home)
Out of the dark (Out of the dark)
Into His arms (Into His arms)
No more running away, I’m running home

I’m running, I’m running home
I’m running, I’m running home
I’m running, I’m running home

Gonna run this race ’til my final step
Gonna sing this song ’til my final breath
Let the weight of this world go

Gonna be no tears, gonna be no pain
And when I see that smile on my Savior’s face
I won’t be walking, I’ll be running home

He called my name (He called my name)
And He stole my shame (He stole my shame)
Everything changed when I came running home
(I’m running, I’m running home)
Out of the dark (Out of the dark)
Into His arms (Into His arms)
No more running away, I’m running home

I’m running, I’m running home
I’m running, I’m running home
I’m running, I’m running home
Everything changed when I came running home
I’m running, I’m running home
I’m running, I’m running home
I’m running, I’m running home (Yeah, I’m running home)

(Estoy corriendo, estoy corriendo a casa)

Estoy corriendo, estoy corriendo a casa
Estoy corriendo, estoy corriendo a casa

(Estoy corriendo, estoy corriendo a casa)

Estoy corriendo, estoy corriendo a casa
Estoy corriendo, estoy corriendo a casa
Estoy corriendo, estoy corriendo a casa

No habrá lágrimas, no habrá dolor
No estaré caminando, estaré corriendo a casa

Él llamó mi nombre (Él llamó mi nombre)
Y me quitó la vergüenza (Él robó mi vergüenza)
Todo cambio cuando volví corriendo a casa
(Estoy corriendo, estoy corriendo a casa)

Estoy corriendo, estoy corriendo a casa
Estoy corriendo, estoy corriendo a casa
Estoy corriendo, estoy corriendo a casa
Todo cambió cuando llegué corriendo a casa
Estoy corriendo, estoy corriendo a casa
Estoy corriendo, estoy corriendo a casa
Estoy corriendo, estoy corriendo a casa (Yeah, I’m running home)
