MYLES SMITH A Minute… | Gazing a new star
One of the breakout artists of 2024 releases a new EP titled ‘A Minute…’, which includes his big hit ‘Stargazing’ 🌠. The 22 million people who listen to him every month have some strong reasons to do so.
Who is Myles Smith?
Myles Smith was born in 1998 in England into a Jamaican family. As a child he learned to play guitar and piano, so much so that by the age of 12 he was playing at parties and open mic nights 🎤
In 2020 he opened an account on TikTok and started uploading covers, but it wouldn’t be until 2022 that he would start to have a powerful fan base by sharing some songs composed by himself.
- In 2023, Myles released several singles such as ‘My Home’ and ‘Solo‘, which attracted the attention of RCA Records with whom he signed a record deal.
- In 2024 he would release his debut EP, ‘You Promised a Lifetime’ with 6 tracks.
Success would come to him later in 2024 with his track ‘Stargazing‘. Written by Myles Smith himself, the track speaks of self-discovery and introspection.
Not content with this at the end of 2024 he would release a fantastic new EP called ‘A Minute…‘.
To celebrate Myles would perform for the first time at a festival in his home town of Luton, Stockwood Park. All while preparing for the continuation of his first major tour of North America, UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Myles Smith released an unexpected new short album after breaking records with his track ‘Stargazing‘.
- ‘A Minute…‘ is a collection of 7 deeply personal songs about relationships:
Each song tells its own story, but all are related to growth, reflection and the impact relationships have on who we become.
The first 4 tracks stand out in particular:
- Nice to meet you: a song born out of pure joy and love. It’s a reminder that the right person can change everything, often when you least expect it.
- Stargazing: The best-selling 2024 single by an English artist.
- Waste ft. James Bay: A collaboration we didn’t know we needed. Old souls in young bodies.
- Wait for you: Our favorite Myles Smith track to date. An ode to friendship and mental health. A true hymn of hope.
But the dico doesn’t end there, Whisper, 3am and Little by Little, put a period to the career of the new British pop star.
As Myles Smith himself says, ‘A Minute…’ is a deeply personal exploration of connections, time and the moments in between that are often overlooked. Overall, ‘A Minute…’ is about finding clarity in moments of uncertainty, whether in relationships or in life itself. It’s about those little moments that end up meaning the most.
