Wake Up The Wicked is 11 songs in just over 37 minutes:

1. Bless ’em With the Blade: Fast and epic, the opening track of the album is a banger that lays the foundation for what will be a great album.
2. Sinners of the Seven Seas: What a cannon of a song! Powerwolf in pure essence, saints and sinners, this time crossing the seven seas. The Thrill of the Week.
3. Kyrie Klitorem: A bold and provocative exploration of temptation, desire and the struggle between pleasure and morality. ‘Kyrie Klitorem’ comes from the Latin phrase ‘Kyrie Eleison’, meaning ‘Lord, have mercy’. Powerwolf replaces ‘Eleison’ with ‘Klitorem’, alluding to the clitoris.
4. Heretic Hunters: We become heretic hunters in a track with an extremely catchy chorus, like most of Powerwolf.
5. 1589: One of the must-haves from ‘Wake up the Wicked’, it tells the story of the farmer, serial killer and incestuous cannibal, Peter Stumpp, known as The Werewolf of Bedburg.
6. Viva Vulgata: The Vulgate is a translation of the Bible into Latin. A theme of religious and metalera cut very much in the style of the band’s beginnings.
7. Wake Up the Wicked: The song that gives name to the new Powerwolf’s album, as it could not be otherwise, is a heavy metal song that tells us that it is time to wake up the wicked to give them what they deserve.
8. Joan of Arc: Between strong guitars, drums of war and the torn voice of Attila, the singer of Powerwolf, they tell us the story of the great Joan of Arc.
9. Thunderpriest: This is the story of the thunder priest, a nightmare in the form of a plundering beast sent from the heavens to kill.
10. We Don’t Wanna Be No Saints: With a spectacular video full of nuns in thongs, Powerwolf is accompanied by a choir of children to tell us that they don’t want to be saints anymore. Judging by the video, we believe it 😊.
11. Vargamor: Straight from Swedish folklore comes Vargamor, a witch who helps werewolves. A perfect track to end this great Powerwolf album.
