What is Tom Grennan What Ifs & Maybes about?
The album tells the story of Grennan’s incredible journey to becoming a star in his home country and one of the world’s most promising pop stars.
‘What Ifs & Maybes‘ includes 17 positive and honest songs, which Grennan says he has written to help people de-shackle, take risks and realise their dreams 🌌
Tom has called the album, ‘What Ifs and Maybes’ because it’s about going with your gut, not your head, because you never know what’s going to happen. Don’t be afraid to jump into the unknown. Tom explained:
It’s about rolling the dice and living your best life with nothing to lose.

In 2021, just a few months after releasing his magnificent second album Evering Road, Tom started writing new songs.
- He wanted to have fun and change his sound, the first result being ‘All These Nights‘.
Inspired by his partner Daniella Carraturo he continued to write, as well as featuring on 2 hit singles:

- Lionheart, featuring Joel Corry

‘You Are Not Alone’ sends a message of support to remind us that if we feel alone, there is love all around us. It encourages us to take notice of our surroundings and offer that support to others because the smallest detail can mean everything 😘
Tom Grennan explained the meaning of ‘You are not alone‘:
This isn’t just another single to me, it’s far more than that. This is the most personal song I have ever written. I want these lyrics to help other people as much as writing them has helped me.
It’s no secret, for a long time I’ve had to work on my own mental health and I continue to do so daily. It’s been rough!
I hope this song talks to that feeling and gives you that warm hug you might need right now. Now, more than ever, we need to look after each other and look after ourselves.
