PICTURE THIS Parked Car Conversations | Car talks are the best
Picture This has established themselves as one of the new Pop bands of reference in the UK. The fact is that these Irishmen have immense compositions and an electrifying live performance. This is demonstrated in their latest work ‘Parked Car Conversations‘, heartfelt lyrics and powerful melodies.
Who are Picture This?
Picture This is an Irish alternative band consisting of Ryan Hennessy (vocals), Jimmy Rainsford (drums), Owen Cardiff (guitar) and Cliff Deane (bass).
Their self-released debut album in 2017 went triple platinum, going #1 in their native Ireland, the same number they have achieved with all their subsequent albums.
Although their story begins a little earlier, when in 2015 Ryan and Jimmy recorded a single called, ‘Take My Hand’ and released it on Facebook and YouTube. That track today has over 45 million listens on Spotify.
Picture This’s first concert was in Dublin to a packed house of over 800 people. From there they slowly grew and filled venues with thousands of fans.
In 2016 they released an EP with the same name ‘Picture This’, which would lead them straight to that first album of the same name.
After a couple of good singles, ‘The Morning’ and ‘When We Were Young’, in 2018 they would return to the scene with their second album, “MDRN LV”, going out on a new tour.
It wouldn’t be until 2021 that we would enjoy a new Picture This album, ‘Life In Colour’ included great tracks like ‘Addict to Magic’ and ‘Unconditional’.
In the time so far Picture This has captivated listeners from all corners of the world accumulating 450 million total streams, has sold out all his concerts, including 5 nights at Dublin Stadium.
In 2024 they present their new album ‘Parked Car Conversations’, another step forward for a band destined for success.
In the process of creating ‘Parked Car Conversations’ we realised that we have spent hours and hours in parked cars over the years having some life changing conversations both together and in our own personal lives, something we quickly realised a lot of people could relate to!

Parked Car Conversations | Picture This new album
The fourth and long-awaited album by the Irish pop-alternative band is a mix of pop-rock with indie and folk touches, infused with infectious harmonies and epic choruses.
- Parked Car Conversations is an ambitious work consisting of 15 tracks written by themselves over the last three years.
They recorded the album in a beautiful studio on a small Norwegian island called Giske 🏝️. A magical place that the band said influenced ‘Parked Car Conversations’ in a very special way.
While the main theme of the album is love, some songs like ‘Song To Myself’‘ reveal a greater emotional depth, confessing the mental health issues Picture This’s singer and lyricist Ryan Hennessy went through.
- Many of Hennessy’s personal obstacles are reflected on ‘Parked Car Conversations‘.
The band stands out when singing upbeat anthems like the wonderful ‘Get on my love‘, or the title track ‘Parked Car Conversations‘, a very special song about the friendship and closeness of the Picture This members.
The eighties song ‘Act of Innocence‘ is one of our favorites, it gives off energy, good vibes and a lot of love.
The album also includes little treasures like ‘Call It Love‘, an uplifting song in which Picture This talks about how someone can enlighten us even in the darkest of times.
The Emotion of the Week and for Trembol the best song in the album is ‘Tell My Heart‘. The way they sing this verse is part of the best of 2024 😍:
Yeah, ’cause I’d find you in every momentI’d find you in every roomI’d find in your eyes is where all my dreams come trueAnd if you ended up leavingI just don’t know what I’d doThat’s why I’m too scared to tell my heart about you
The album concludes with ‘Leftover love‘, a beautiful song that speaks of the pain and loss of a loved one or relationship, and the deep confusion of what to do with the love that was left behind.
The Athy quartet has navigated the mainstream with a loyal fan base behind them, and although their foray into the United States under Joe Jones has not been successful, the band has continued to make good music.
Incidentally, to celebrate the summer they have just released a new single ‘Satellites‘. As Picture This says, ‘why wait when the music is calling‘.

Picture This 'Tell My Heart' Lyrics
Too many nights I’ve been so scared
Too many nights in the ruins
Of something I fucked up
Mm, and I always dive off the deep end
And, baby, I’m getting that feeling
That’s why I’m scared to jump
Yeah, ’cause I’d find you in every moment
I’d find you in every room
I’d find in your eyes is where all my dreams come true
And if you ended up leaving
I just don’t know what I’d do
That’s why I’m too scared to tell my heart about you
You, ooh-ooh
You, ooh-ooh
That’s why I’m too scared to tell my heart about you
‘Cause I can’t share just half my heart, babe
I rip it clean out my rib cage
And lay it in your arms
Yeah, ’cause I’d find you in every moment
I’d find you in every room
I’d find in your eyes is where all my dreams come true
And if you ended up leaving
I just don’t know what I’d do
That’s why I’m too scared to tell my heart about you
You, ooh-ooh
You, ooh-ooh
That’s why I’m too scared to tell my heart about you
I can’t love you for a night, I’ll
Hold your body for a lifetime
Till somebody needs a lifeline
You, you, you, you
I can’t love you for a night, I’ll
Hold your body for a lifetime
Till somebody needs a lifeline
You, you, you, you
Oh, if you ended up leaving
I just don’t know what I’d do
That’s why I’m too scared to tell my heart about you
Picture This 'Tell My Heart' Lyrics in Spanish
Demasiadas noches he estado tan asustado
